I nomi delle camere sono un omaggio a Matilde Clara Ilda Delli Veneri, figlia di Vincenzo detto “Mastanella”, sarto artigiano, fondatore, nel 1919, dell’antica e prestigiosa bottega sartoriale che domina Via Bonaparte.
Sarta anch’ella, affiancò ben presto il padre nell’attività sartoriale, occupandosi prevalentemente della linea femminile, accanto a due dei suoi fratelli, Biagio e Remo, quest’ultimo rimasto in attività come sarto per uomo nella Bottega Delli Veneri sino al 2013.
Donna schietta e austera, con vivida mente e guizzi di sagace ironia, Ilde - com’era nota ai più - ha abitato la storica dimora per oltre 60 anni, facendone un punto di riferimento e un luogo di ritrovo non solo della famiglia, ma degli abitanti del borgo tutto.
